ATTN: Town Meeting.

You are hereby notified that the monthly Balthrop, Alabama town meeting will be held this coming Wednesday, February 21st. If you don’t know your days, that’s the day after milk day.

On the agenda:
- Mayor Billingsley would like to discuss the possible installation of a second traffic light, at the far end of Main Street where it meets Bigby Street.
- Ms. Babbie Jackson would like to discuss the upcoming donation drive for new baseball uniforms.
- Reverend Banks would like to discuss the alleged goings-on at Miss Grace Garland’s chicken farm out on Cody Road. Children will be excused for this portion of the meeting.
- Other town minutiae: Schedule for the upcoming school year;
New textbooks kindly donated by the Intelligent Design Institute;
Swearing-in of Mayor Billingsley for his 12th term.

Maw Pratscher has promised to bring one of her delicious cakes. And of course Paw Pratscher has a new batch of sour mash he’d like to try out on us. And Mr. Mitchell and his band will follow the proceedings with some music.
